Empeiria High Sierra Hotel, Mammoth Lakes

The hotel is in a great location, very close to parking and at the end of the hall, with spacious rooms featuring lots of extras. The staff was friendly and professional during check-in and check-out, but not advertised as pet-friendly. The dining experience was one of the best on the trip, ready daily before heading out. The hotel is just behind a gas station, providing safety and convenience, although somewhat hard to find. The rooms had a loud, gurgling toilet issue off-and-on throughout the night.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and tidy, and it was a pleasant surprise to find a kettle, which is not common in US hotels. The service was top-notch, with incredibly polite staff, although there was a slight hiccup with a misinformation incident. The location was wonderful, within walking distance of everything I needed in the lovely town of Mammoth Lakes. The dining experience was great, especially the made-to-order pancakes and breakfast potatoes. Overall, a fantastic choice for a stay!
